Renata got her brand new timpone board (and fortunately for her, remembered to put some fins on it before riding it) - while the boys got ready for a morning session at baby beach. ok so it wasn't really a new spot - but it was for us because despite coming to maui for 4 years we'd never sailed there.
the rigging area was soft grass (and just out of the wind) but the actual entry to the water was grim. getting in wasn't that bad because you could lay the board on the chop and push it along but getting out two hours later over razor sharp rocks with tired arms holding kit above head was annoying. next time we'll sail downwind to sprecks but for now here's the photos...
